Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION g96-01-002 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT g95-20 (BITUMINOUS PAVING OF 151ST <br />AVENUE, 152ND AVENUE AND FLUORINE STREET WEST OF T.H. #47 IN <br />SECTION 24) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Ramsey City Council, adopted December <br />12, 1995, a report has been prepared by Mr. Steven Jankowski, City Engineer, with reference to <br />Improvement Project g95-20 (Bituminous Paving of 151st Avenue, 152nd Avenue, 152nd Avenue <br />and Fluorine Street west of T.H. #47 in Section 24); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the report was received by the Ramsey City Council on January 9, 1996, <br />which indicates the following: <br /> <br />Estimated total cost of project <br />Estimated total assessment per unit <br />(individual property cost) <br />Estimated annual assessment per unit <br />10 year term <br /> <br />$87,261 <br />$ 3,966 <br /> <br />$ 598 <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council will consider the improvement of bituminous paving of <br />151st Avenue, 152nd Avenue and Fluorine Street west of T.H. #47 in Section 24 in <br />accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of <br />the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 and the Ramsey <br />City Code Section 4.60 at an estimated total cost of $87,261. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 13th day of <br />February, 1996, in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center, at 7:00 p.m. <br />and the City Administrator shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and <br />improvement as required by law. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Beahen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Beahen <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Peterson <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
