Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #96-01-009 RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO BARBAROSSA & SONS, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #95-14 (MUNICIPAL SANITARY SEWER AND WATER EXTENSION TO HAUBRICH ADDITION) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved Improvement Project//95-14 on September 26, 1995; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey awarded Improvement Project//95-14 to Barbarossa & Sons, Inc. by change order on September 26, 1995; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to Barbarossa & Sons, Inc. in the amount of $19,164.83. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Barbarossa & Sons, Inc. for Improvement Project g95-14 in the amount of $19,164.83. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of January, 1996. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Beahen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hardin Councilmember Peterson Councilmember Beahen and the following voted against the same: Councilmember Beyer Councilmember Zimmerman and the following abstained: None and the following were absent: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 9th day of January, 1996.
