Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #96-01-011 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RELATING TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS RELATIVE TO SAP <br />199-101-109 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has planned the improvement of MSAS 101, 153rd/155th Avenue <br />N.W. from Armstrong Boulevard N.W. to Variolite Street N.W.; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City will be expending Municipal Street Aid Funds on the <br />improvements of this street; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this improvement does not provide adequate width for parking on both <br />sides of the street through all sections of the street, and approval of the proposed construction as a <br />Municipal State Aid Street project must, therefore, be conditioned upon certain parking restrictions. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City of Ramsey shall ban the parking of motor vehicles along the north side and <br />selected portions of the south side of MSAS 101 at all times. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Beahen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof.' <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin <br />Councilmember Peterson <br />Councilmember Beahen <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed an~ adopted by-thc Ramsey City Council this. <br />the 23rd day of January, 1996. <br /> <br /> Mayor <br /> <br />..ATTEST:~ <br /> <br /> ~L~ A'-~n~in'i~trator <br /> <br /> <br />
