Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION g96-01-025 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #96-14 (SEALCOAT AND CRACK FILL EAST <br />HALF OF SECTIONS 34 AND 35, SOUTH OF STATE TRUNK HIGHWAY #10) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer Steven Jankowski was directed by the Ramsey City Council, <br />at their meeting of October 24, 1995, to prepare a feasibility study for the 1996 Street Maintenance <br />Program; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the report was received by the Ramsey City Council on January 23, 1996, <br />which indicates the following: <br /> <br />Estimated total cost of project <br /> <br />$25,679.00 <br /> <br />Estimated total assessment <br /> <br />$10,875.00 <br /> <br />Estimated assessment per unit <br />Three (3) year term <br /> <br />$ 141.24 <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council will consider the improvements of sealcoating and crack <br />filling of such streets in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property <br />for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter <br />429 and the Ramsey City Code Section 4.60 at an estimated total cost of $25,679. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 13th day of <br />February, 1996 in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center at 7:00 p.m., <br />and the City Administrator shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and <br />improvement as required by law. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Beahen upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin <br />Councilmember Peterson <br />Councilmember Beahen <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
