Councilmember Beahen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #98-01-013 RESOLUTION APPROVING llTH PARTIAL PAYMENT TO ALBERG WATER SERVICES, LLC FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #97-22 (CONSTRUCTION OF WELL NO. 4) WHEREAS, on May 13, 1997, the Ramsey City Council approved Project #97-22 and awarded the bid (which was included as a separate schedule with the bids for Well No. 3) to Alberg Water Services, LLC for the construction of Well No. 4 at the contract price of $81,455.00; and WHEREAS, previous payments have been issued to Alberg Water Services, LLC for Well No. 3 (Improvement Project #96-21) in the amount of $121,915.48; and WHEREAS, previous payments have been issued to Alberg Water Services, LLC for Well No. 4 (Improvement Project #97-22) in the amount of $26,574.98; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to Alberg Waters Services, LLC in the amount of $4,437.71. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Alberg Water Services, LLC for the construction of Well No. 4 (Improvement Project #97-22) in the amount of $4,437.71. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the City Engineer to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of January, 1998. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
