<br />FINANCE COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Finance Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, May 23,2006, at the Ramsey <br />Fire Station Number 1, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard, NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson Sarah Strommen <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Public Works Director Brian Olson <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Strommen called the regular meeting of the Finance Committee to order at 5:36 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Jeffrey, to approve the agenda as <br />submitted. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Strommen, Councilmembers Elvig and Jeffrey. <br />Voting No: None. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Meeting with Property Owner at 14720 Germanium Street Regarding <br />$6,000 Water Bill <br /> <br />Finance Officer Lund reviewed that at the Finance Committee meeting of May 9, 2006, it was <br />brought to the Committee members' attention about a $6,000 water bill that was received by a <br />resident residing at 14720 Germanium Street. The Committee directed staff to set up a payment <br />plan with the resident. Ms. Audrey Smith, the resident who received the bill, is present to meet <br />with the Finance Committee to discuss the water bill. <br /> <br />Finance Committee I May 23, 2006 <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />
