<br />CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, April 4, 2006, at <br />the Ramsey Fire Station Number 1, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Councilmember Al Pearson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Director of Public Works Dean Kapler <br />Community Development Director Patrick Trudgeon <br />HRA Exec. Director/ Asst. Community Dev. Director Sylvia Frolik <br />Associate Planner Amy Geisler <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the City Council Work Session to order at 5:30 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman requested that the Council first consider Item 2 since Mr. Morton is <br />in attendance to provide a presentation. <br /> <br />The agenda was approved as amended. <br /> <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />2) Cluster Subdivision Ordinance <br /> <br />Associate Planner Geisler introduced Rod Morton, Connexus, who will present information <br />about their Wastewater Management Program. <br /> <br />Rod Morton, Connexus, introduced himself and stated he is now working with Corporate <br />Development to look at business diversification using their existing infrastructure. He stated that <br />he likes to tour the actual development site and offered to take the Council on tours of sites in <br />close proximity of Ramsey. He briefly reviewed the Connexus WaterWays business and <br />explained that managing the wastewater is not much different than managing the infrastructures. <br />Mr. Morton stated they saw a lot of cluster developments coming that would result in demand for <br /> <br />City Council Work Session / April 4, 2006 <br />Page 1 of 19 <br />
