<br />CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, June 27, 2006, at <br />the Ramsey Fire Station Number 1, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Councilmember Al Pearson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Aaron Nielsen of Malloy, Montague, Karnaowski, and Radosevich <br />(MMKR) <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the City Council Work Session to order at 6:14 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />The agenda was approved as submitted. <br /> <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />1) 2005 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) <br /> <br />Finance Officer Lund explained yearly the City is required to undergo an annual audit of the <br />City's financial records by an independent auditing firm. She indicated Aaron Nielsen of <br />Malloy, Montague, Karnaowski, and Radosevich (MMKR) is present to provide the Council <br />with a report on the management report of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR). <br /> <br />Aaron Nielsen, MMKR, provided an overview of the management report of the City's 2005 <br />Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, including the following information: <br /> <br />Audit Summary: <br />· Unqualified opinion, which is a clean opinion. <br /> <br />City Council Work Session / June 27, 2006 <br />Page 1 of3 <br />
