<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Board of Adjustment conducted a public hearing on Thursday, November <br />20,1986 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota regarding Mr. Clarence Jensen's request for a variance from side yard <br />setback requirements. <br /> <br />Members Present: Mr. Gerald Zimmerman, Chairman <br />Mr. Ben Deemer <br />Mr. Roy Shumway <br />Mr. Charles LaDue <br />Mr. Terry Hendriksen <br />Mr. Ken Peterson <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Community Development Director Anne Norris <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Mr. Jim Howell <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman called the public hearing to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Mr. Clarence Jensen was present representing Northern Oxygen requesting a <br />variance from the side yard setback in order to construct a 50' x 100' addition <br />to the south side of the existing building at 6650 Hwy. #10 N.W. Mr. Jensen <br />requested a five foot encroachment on the required side yard, leaving a 15 foot <br />wide side yard setback rather than a 20' wide setback. <br /> <br />Commissioner Shumway inquired why the addition is proposed to be offset <br />somewhat from the existing building. <br /> <br />Mr. Jensen replied that the addition is offset to allow continued use of the <br />overhead door on the existing building. <br /> <br />ADJOURN <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to <br />adjourn the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Peterson, <br />Shumway, Deemer, Hendriksen and LaDue. Voting No: None.
