<br />. <br /> <br />PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br />BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />PUBLI C HEARING <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A Board of Adjustment Public Hearing was called to order by Chairman <br />Arnie Cox, Tuesday, December 21, 1982 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, <br />15153 Nowthen Blvd.N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota, regarding Mr. Gerald Peltzer's <br />request for variance from City Code to keep his mobile home at his residence <br />longer than Code permits. <br /> <br />Members Present: Councilmember Arnie Cox, Chairman <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec~ <br />Council member Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember Al Sorteberg <br />Councilmember Sue Van Wagner <br /> <br />Also Present: City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />City Building Official Clayton Berg <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br />Reporter Eric Sandin <br /> <br />Chairman Arnie Cox called the public hearing to order at 7:47 P.M. <br /> <br />. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Peltzer were present at the public hearing. <br /> <br />John Bissel - 17917 Junkite - Mr. Bissel urged Council to consider this <br />request very carefully, that mobile homes decrease in value and they <br />also depress property values in areas where they are located. Mr. Bi.ssel <br />stated that granting this variance could set a precedence. Mr. Bissel <br />further stated that Ham Lake, for instance, is havin~ all kinds of problems <br />because of temporary permits granted for mobiles homes. <br /> <br />Moti.on by Mayor Gamec and seconded by Council member Rei.mann to adjourn <br />the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Arnie Cox, Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers <br />Reimann, Sorteberg and Van Wagner.
