<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />BOARD OF REVIEW <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A continued meeting of the May 21, 1984 Board of Review was held <br />on Monday, June 4, 1984 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 <br />Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Al Sorteberg <br />Councilmember Jean Schlueter <br />Councilmember Gary Reimann <br /> <br />Also Present: City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle <br />City Assessor Les Wirz <br />Ed Thurston, Anoka County <br /> <br />Members Absent: Councilmember Sue Van Wagner <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the Board of Review to order at 7:40 p.m. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case =lfl: Jim Acers - 8600 l76th Ave. N.W. - PIN R05-32-25-32- <br />0008: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that at the May 21, 1984 Board of Review <br />Mr. Acers requested the opportunity to make a presentation <br />regarding the continued rise in market valuation and property <br />taxes. Mayor Gamec stated that Mr. Acers is not present tonight; <br />that Mr. Acers no longer plans to make such a presentation as <br />it seems to Mr. Acers that the City has done it's homework and <br />there is nothing new he can add to what the City already knows. <br /> <br />Case #2: Donald Jenks - 16017 Ramsey Blvd. N.W. - PIN R15-32- <br />25-'42-0026 : <br /> <br />City Assessor Wirz stated that Mr. Jenks is not present and that <br />he has informed Mr. Jenks that he cannot reduce his market <br />valuation and Mr. Jenks stated that he would take his case to <br />the County Board of Review. <br /> <br />Case =lf3: Mr. John Praske - 8400 l8lst Avenue - PIN R05-32-25- <br />21-0002 : <br /> <br />City Assessor Wirz stated that he reviewed Mr. Praske1s case, <br />there was a calculation error and it has been corrected. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember <br /> <br />BoR/June 4, 1984 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
