<br />. <br /> <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Economic Development Commission conducted a special meeting on <br />Tuesday, April 15,1986 at Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., <br />Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: Mr. Don Greenberg, Chairman (Arrived 7:50 a.m.) <br />Mr. Ken Wagner <br />Mr. Bernie Vevea <br />Mr. Jack Ippel <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Dave Hartley <br />City Planner Anne Norris <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Mr. Darryl Fults <br />Mr. Glen Hardin <br />Mr. Tom Kurak <br />Mr. Bob Muller <br />Mr. Steve DeLuca <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER' <br /> <br />The special meeting was called to order at 7:43 a.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Consensus was to approve the agenda as submitted. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #2: Discussion Reiardini Public Hearini On April 15. 1986 Reiarding <br />Establishment Of Storm Sewer Improvement Tax Districts: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated that Council will be conducting a public hearing on April <br />15, 1986 regarding the establishment of storm sewer improvement tax districts. <br />In 1980, City Engineer Raatikka completed a comprehensive storm drainage plan <br />for Ramsey. As a starting point, the City identified several drainage <br />districts within the City's Transitional and Urban areas; the Rural area was <br />not addressed except for the Lake Itasca portion which was included in the <br />Transitional area. The drainage districts are defined by topography. The <br />ultimate plan is to have all of the community identified in a drainage district <br />of one kind or another, but for now two districts with urgent needs have been <br />April 15, 1986 <br /> <br />Page 1 of 5 <br />
