Administrator's Report Council Update City Council Highlights - July 8 Consent Agenda This Council meeting began with the City Council unanimously approving all 16 Consent Agenda items. Council Business The first was to Adopt Resolution #25-148, Approving a Conditional Use Permit and Site Plan in the COR- 2b Zoning District for Chipotle at 14701 Armstrong Boulevard NW. The proposed project includes the development of a 2,330-square-foot commercial building for Chipotle, along with 46 parking spaces, a 400-square- foot outdoor dining patio located on the west side of the building and a drive -through lane that wraps around the west and south sides of the building. To accommodate the inclusion of the drive -through lane, the applicant is requesting a Conditional Use Permit. The City Council unanimously approved the resolution and associated Site Plan. The second case was to Adopt Resolution #25-128 Approving Change Order No. 3 and Engineering Amendment No. 3 for Improvement Project #21-09, Centralized Water Treatment Plant. Through Change Order No. 3, Magney has requested a time extension of 79 calendar days to the Substantial Completion date and 64 calendar days to the Final Completion date. If approved, this would result in a cumulative extension of 167 calendar days for Substantial Completion and 152 calendar days for Final Completion from the original construction schedule. The City Council unanimously voted to reject Change Order No. 3 and Engineering Amendment No. 3 related to Improvement Project #21-09 — Centralized Water Treatment Plant. Council further directed staff to collaborate with Magney and AE2S to reduce the additional time and funding requested and to present revised requests at the July 22, 2025, meeting. Congratulations Chief Bluml The City of Ramsey is proud to announce that Chief of Police Brad Bluml has graduated from the FBI National Academy in guantico, Virginia, along with 239 other law enforcement officers. During the 294th session of this prestigious program, Chief Bluml joined participants from 48 states, 14 countries, six military organizations and four federal civilian agencies. This intensive 10-week training program is tailored for individuals who have a demonstrated track record as professionals within their agencies. It emphasizes advanced communication, leadership and fitness skills. Chief Bluml is excited to return home and apply the valuable knowledge and skills he acquired at the academy. Chief Bluml (on the right) is pictured with FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino at the graduation ceremony.
