<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />EOONCmC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANa<A CXXJNl'Y <br />STATE OF MINNESOl'A <br /> <br />The Ramsey Economic Development Commission conducted a special meeting on <br />Monday, January 5, 1987 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. <br />N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: Mr. Don Greenberg, Chainnan <br />Mr. Bernie Vevea <br />Mr. Tan Kurak <br />Mr. Bob Muller <br />Mr. Glen Hardin <br />Mr. Ken Wagner <br />Mr. Darryl Fults <br />Mr. Jack Ippel (arrived 8:40 p.m.) <br /> <br />Also Present: City Administrator David Hartley <br />Conununi ty Developnent Director Anne Norris <br />Councilmember Steve DeLuca <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />~ <br />Chainman Greenberg called the special ~oUficii meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. <br />~-\"8'-~ <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Camnission consensus was to approve the agenda as sutmitted. <br /> <br />CCHITSSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: EDC Recommendation Re'Jarding Sewer And Water For Industrial Area <br />Of ~y: <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated that the proceedings for the proposed extension of sewer and <br />water have followed the guidelines of the City Charter which says there has to <br />be a public hearing on the improvement and a period of time in which persons in <br />favor of or opposed to a project can submit petitions. A petition has been <br />sutmitted to the City which reflects that a majority of the affected property <br />owners are og;x>sed to the proposed inprovement; that petition has not yet been <br />presented to Council. City Council has indicated that if no petitions were <br />submitted og;x>sing the improvement, they would consider the project at their <br />special meeting scheduled for January 6. There being a petition, it is <br />expected that City Council will deem it more appropriate to deal with the issue <br />at the regular Council meeting scheduled for January 27. Mr. Hartley stated <br />that he will be sutmitting the petition to Council on January 6 and according <br />EDC/January 5, 1987 <br /> <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />
