<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Economic Development Commission conducted a regular meeting on <br />Wednesday, August 12, 1987 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen <br />Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: Mr. Don Greenberg, Chairman <br />Mr. Bob Muller <br />Mr. Darryl Fults <br />Mr. Tom Kurak <br />Mr. Ken Wagner <br />Mr. Jack Ippel <br />Mr. Steve Gorecki <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Community Development Director Anne Norris <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Mr. Bernie Vevea <br />Mr. Glen Hardin <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Greenberg called the regular EDC meeting to order at 7:34 a.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Art Raudio - Stated he is in the midst of a conflict with Councilmember Cox <br />and under those circumstances he is willing to assist but not chair the <br />City's efforts to have a promotional booth at the Game Fair. <br /> <br />Commissioner Ippel reported there have been some delays in producing the <br />City's video but it should be completed in time for the Game Fair. He also <br />emphasized that the intent of the booth was to promote the city as a whole <br />and those manning the booth should not be attempting to make real estate <br />sales. Discussion ensued regarding information and promotional ideas that <br />could be used at the Game Fair. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Muller and seconded by Commissioner Wagner to <br />appoint Commissioners Fults, Kurak and Ippel to work with Mr. Raudio on a <br />Game Fair Subcommittee for the purpose of organizing the City's promotional <br />booth at the event. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Greenberg, Commissioners Muller, <br />Fults, Kurak, Wagner, Ippel and Gorecki. Voting No: None. Absent: <br />Commissioners Vevea and Hardin. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Muller and seconded by Commissioner Ippel <br />authorizing the Game Fair Subcommittee a $500 maximum expenditure for the <br />city's promotional activities at the 1987 Game Fair. <br />EDC/August 12, 1987 <br /> <br />Page 1 of 5 <br />
