As we look toward 1989
and 1990, I would like to emphasize the continuing
need to be a team and to work together on the part
of our City Council, boards and commissions, citizen
groups, and the public at large. I believe that it is
this teamwork that can and will make Ramsey a tru-
ly great place to live and work. I also believe that
we need to find reasons to celebrate our ac-
complishments as a team. This year my challenge
to the citizens of Ramsey is to find a team of which
you can be a member and support that team. By do-
ing so you will make a difference in Ramsey. Here
is only a partial list of some teams that you may want
to join:

Lions
Jaycees
Volunteer fire department
School organizations:
PTA
Teen Advisory Board
Advisory Council
Key Communicator Program
Community Education
Ramsey Youth Athletic Association
Area churches
City boards, commissions, and committees:
Planning and Zoning
Park and Recreation
Economic Development
Airport
Solid Waste Issues
Make the Scene, Keep Ramsey Clean
4-H Clubs
Scouts
Senior citizen group
RISE
Mediation Services for Anoka County
Anoka County Area of/for Persons with Disability

Our City offices also have jobs for volunteers.

ANNUAL BOARD OF

REVIEW SCHEDULED

Ramsey's Annual Board of Review will be held on
Tuesday, April 18, 1989 at 7:30 p.m. at the Ramsey
Municipal Center for the purpose of reviewing and
correcting property valuations for 1989. All persons
considering themselves aggrieved by said valuation,
or who wish to complain that property of another is
valued too low, are hereby notified to appear at said
Board of Review and show cause for having the
valuation corrected.
No complaint that another person's property is
valued too low will be acted upon until the person
to be assessed, or his agent, have been notified of
such complaint.

POSTAL CUSTOMER

COMING SOON

RYAA PANCAKE BREAKFAST

"GO FOR THE GOLD" with RYAA Pancake
Breakfast, Sunday, April 2 from 8:00 a.m.-1 :00 p.m.
held at Ramsey Elementary School.
