Also, I have found it necessary to
request some assistance in the preparation of the Newsletter due to the
additional responsibilities in my new position as Zoning Administrator.
Cooperation between Ramsey Community Education and the City of
Ramsey will now produce the Ramsey Resident Newsletter. This will result
in a $6,000 savings, or 50%, of the annual printing cost to continue to provide
this service to our residents.
Articles for publication should be at City Hall by the 10th of the month and newsletters
should be received by the 28th of each month. If you have any questions, please call
Sylvia at 427-1410 or Claudia Dodge, Ramsey Community Education, at 422-5199.

COUNCIL ORGANIZES FOR 1991
On January 8, 1991, City Council conducted an
organizational meeting and made the following appointments:

Official Newspaper - Anoka County Union
Additional Newspaper - Elk River Star News
Acting Mayor - Councilmember Peterson
Personnel Committee - Councilmembers Beyer and Cich with
Councilmember Hardin serving as an alternate
Budget Committee - Councilmembers Beyer and Hardin
Road & Bridge Committee - Mayor Gilbertson and
Councilmember Peterson
Fire Board - Councilmembers Peterson and Cich
Negotiating Committee - Councilmembers Beyer, Hardin and
Peterson
Accounts Payable Review - Council member Hardin
Precinct #lA and B Liaison - Councilmember Beyer
Precinct #2 Liaison - Mayor Gilbertson
Precinct #3 A & B Liaison - Councilmember Hardin
Serving At Large - Councilmembers Peterson and Cich
Association of Metropolitan Municipalities (AMM) Primary
Delegate - City Administrator
AMM Alternate Delegate - Mayor Gilbertson
AMM Legislative Contacts - Mayor Gilbertson and City
Administrator
Joint Law Enforcement Council Delegate - Councilmember
Cich
Key Communicator Delegate - Councilmember Peterson
Anoka County Landfill Board (Methane Project) Delegate -
Councilmember Peterson
Anoka County Solid Waste Abatement Task Force
Delegate - Mayor Gilbertson
Anoka County Regional Railroad Authority Delegate - City
Administrator
Lower Rum River Water Management Organization
(LRRWMO) Primary Delegate - City Engineer Jankowski
LRRWMO Alternate Delegate - City Administrator
Quad Cities Cable Communications Commission
Delegates - Gary Reimann and Richard Netzloff

Ramsey Resident
Ramsey Municipal Center
15153 Nowthen Blvd. NW
Ramsey, MN 55303

[J

IT'S PARTY
TIME
AT THE
GREATER
ANOKA
COUNTY
HUMANE
SOCIETY

Grab your party hats and crank up the
noisemakers.
