PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNEMC~A <br /> <br />~]e Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing on <br />Tuesday, April 5, 1988 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. <br />N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota regarding Mr. George Carlson and River's Bend <br />Properties' request for preliminary approval of a planned unit develoI:nent. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mr. Gerald Zimmerman, Chairman <br />Mr. Roy Shumway <br />Mr. Michael Terry <br />Mr. Terry Hendriksen <br />Mr. Charles LaDue <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Community Development Director Anne Norris <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Mr. Jim Holm <br />Mr. Jim Howell <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman called the public hearing to order at 8:05 p.m. <br /> <br />Mr. George Carlson, Mr. Lyle McLaughlin and Mr. Rick Foster were present. <br />Mr. Carlson stated that he is requesting preliminary approval of a planned <br />unit develo~nent to develop a 32-unit apartment building just south of the <br />Food 'n' Fuel on Hwy. #47. <br /> <br />Ken Ritchey - 3611 Coolidge - Inquired as to the building setback from City <br />of Anoka boundary and the ordinary high water mark. <br /> <br />Mr. Carlson - Replied that DNR has approved the setbacks. <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that the setback from high water mark is about 112' and <br />about 100' from the Anoka boundary. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Terry to adjourn <br />the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: <br />Terry, Hendriksen and LaDue. <br />Holm and Howell. <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Shumway, <br />Voting No: None.
