Mr. Keefe
was hired as City Assessor in May, 1989.
During Mr. Keefe's tenure, current total median
sales ratios have been improved to 94.3%
which is a vast improvement from 1988 levels
and is at Anoka County target levels. In order
to ensure a system of fairness and equity in
appraisal throughout the "community, Mr. Keefe
implemented a system of five commercial and
six residential appraised zones based on
building construction as opposed to the old four
zone system of geographic boundaries. All of
this has occurred during a time of budget
constraints and staff shortages and Mr. Keefe
has continued to display a positive "can do"
attitude.

ATTENTION RAMSEY
RESIDENTS
Economic Development
Commission Vacancy

The City of Ramsey is currently seeking a
candidate to fill a vacancy on its Economic
Development Commission.
