They were chauffeured in a limousine driven by Jory Rasmussen and were <br />accompanied by Officer Jim Singewald and Arlene Stafford of the Ramsey Police <br />Department. Game tickets were donated by Ramsey Councilmember Glen Hardin from the <br />Northeast State Bank. Incidentally, the Twins won the game 3-1. <br /> <br />RYAl FALL/WINTER SPORTS REGISTRATION <br /> <br />RY AA Fall/Winter Sports Registration for soccer, football, basketball and volleyball will <br />be held on Sunday, July 26, 1992 at Central Park between 1 :00 and 5:00 p.m. during the <br />RY AA picnic. A second registration will be held on Monday, August 10, 1992 at Central <br />Park between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. <br /> <br />A concerned Ramsey resident has offered a $100 reward for any <br />information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals <br />responsible for the recent vandalism of mailboxes in the City of <br />Ramsey. Please call Police Chief Mike Auspos at 427.6812 with any <br />information between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday <br />through Friday. <br /> <br /> <br />JULY 1992, VOLUME 7, NO.7 <br /> <br />HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS <br />WASTE COLLECTION DAY <br />SET FOR JULY 25, 1992 <br /> <br />The County of Anoka has scheduled a Household <br />Hazardous Waste Collection Day on Saturday, July <br />25, 1992 at the Anoka County Fairgrounds from 9:00 <br />a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Residents planning to bring <br />materials to the drop-off site should try to have the <br />materials (paint, pesticides, herbicides, oil, antifreeze, <br />varnishes, paint thinners and cleaners) in the original <br />containers if possible. Please don't mix the materials <br />as this may cause serious problems for you and the <br />volunteers. If the label is loose or removed from the <br />container, reattach it or write the type of material on <br />the container (Le., drain cleaner). If you don't know <br />the contents, do not write anything on the container. <br /> <br />Residents with materials to drop off at the site <br />should use the south entrance to the Fairgrounds on <br />State Highway #47. Residents should plan ahead, <br />as lines may be long since this is the first Household <br />Hazardous Waste Collection Day held since May, <br />1988. <br /> <br />If you are interested in volunteering to work at the <br />collection site, please contact either Jim Gromberg, <br />Ramsey Project Manager, at 427-1410 or Carolyn <br />Smith, Anoka County Solid Waste Abatement <br />Specialist, at 421-4760, ext.1701. <br /> <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council will conduct a public <br />hearing on Tuesday, August 11, 1992 at 7:30 p.m. to <br />receive comments regarding the hog farm operations <br />at the 158th block of St. Francis Blvd. NW. Written <br />comments are welcome and should be addressed to <br />the Ramsey City Council, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. NW., <br />Ramsey, Minnesota. Written comments will be <br />received at the above address prior to 5:00 p.m. on <br />Tuesday, August 11, 1992. <br />
