EDA # 1 <br /> <br />1999 INDUCTEE TO THE RAMSEY BUSINESS AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT HALL OF FAME <br />Prepared by: Community Development Assistant Sean Walther <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Each year at the Ramsey Business Appreciation Day, the City inducts a person into the Ramsey Business and Economic Development Hall of Fame. The Economic Development Commission has <br /> used the following general criteria when considering nominees: <br /> <br />Has been involved in all aspects of the community. <br />Has provided for the maintenance or expansion of the commercial/industrial tax base of the community through the development of new business ventures or the retention or expansion of <br /> existing business. <br />The expansion or retention of the employment base of the community. <br />Has been a positive influence on the community and not been in violation of City Ordinances in the past. <br /> <br />Below are lists of people previously inducted or nominated for this honor. <br /> <br /> INDUCTEES 1996-1998 Nominees <br />1989 Donald Greenberg Gerald Bauer <br />1990 Leo LeTourneau Bob Brown <br />1991 Robert Muller Bill Dubatz <br />1992 Duke Grosslein Jim Gilbertson <br />1993 Alan C.
