<br />Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #07-01-016 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING FINAL PLAT APPROVAL OF AMBER RIDGE 2nd <br />ADDITION. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, E & G Development, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "Developer" has <br />properly applied for final plat approval on the following described property located in the City of <br />Ramsey: <br /> <br />Outlot B, AMBER RIDGE, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, on June 20, 2005, the City received application and sketch plan from <br />E & G Development, Inc. for sketch plan review of Amber Ridge 2nd Addition; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on August 8, 2005 and at the request of the <br />Developer the sketch plan review was removed from the agenda; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on February 2, 2006 to review the sketch <br />plan for Amber Ridge 2nd Addition and recommended that the Developer proceed with the <br />subdivision process; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Park Commission met on February 9, 2006 and recommended a cash <br />payment to satisfy park dedication requirements. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on June 7, 2006, the City received an application from the Developer for <br />preliminary plat approval of Amber Ridge 2nd Addition; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on July 10, 2006, the Board of Adjustment and the Planning Commission, <br />respectively, conducted a public hearings regarding the request for a variance to cul-de-sac <br />length, proposed amendment to Comprehensive Plan to change the land use from medium to low <br />density residential, proposed rezoning from R- 2 Residential to R -1 Residential and the <br />preliminary plat; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on July 10, 2006, the Board of Adjustment approved the request for <br />variance to cul-de-sac length, and the Planning Commission recommended City Council <br />approval of the Comprehensive Plan Amendment, Rezoning and Preliminary Plat. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council met on August 8, 2006, and approved the <br />Comprehensive Plan Amendment for submission to Metropolitan Council, introduced an <br />ordinance to rezone the property to R -1 Residential, and granted preliminary plat approval to <br />Amber Ridge 2nd Addition; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Metropolitan Council issued a letter on September 15,2006, approving the <br />land use change from medium to low density residential for Amber Ridge 2nd Addition; and . <br />
