<br />CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, March 6, 2007, <br />at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember John Dehen <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember Matt Look <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Community Development Director Patrick Trudgeon <br />Economic Development Coordinator Sean Sullivan <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Management Intern Timothy Gladhill <br />Jim Lasher, LSA Design <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the City Council Work Session to order at 5:36 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />The agenda was approved as submitted. <br /> <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />1) Ramsey Crossings Update <br /> <br />Mr. Jim Lasher, LSA Design, stated there are three primary issues for Council to deal with <br />tonight in relation to the Ramsey Crossings project. <br />1. Economics of the project <br />2. Overall concept ofthe project <br />3. Schedule <br /> <br />Mr. Lasher stated he would like to discuss the higher view of the reason Council had determined <br />to proceed with the Ramsey Crossings project. He reviewed the following goals included in the <br />summary of the Ramsey Crossings Redevelopment Plan - Goals & Objectives: <br /> <br />· Underutilized land <br />)10> 9 of 16 parcels have limited buildings of 4.9% of the land area <br />· Vacant parcels <br />City Council Work Session / March 6, 2007 <br />Page 1 of8 <br />
