FINANCE COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Finance Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, July 28, 1998, <br />at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: Mayor Thomas Gamec <br /> Councilmember Carolyn Beahen <br /> Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Members Absent: Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br /> Councilmember Natalie Haas Steffen <br /> <br />Also Present: City Administrator James E. Norman <br /> Director of Public Works Dean Kapler <br /> Parks/Utilities Supervisor Mark Boos <br /> Police Chief David Gustafson <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the Finance Committee to order at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Consensus was to approve the agenda. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS: <br /> <br />Case #1: Authorize Community-Built Playground Display at Business <br /> Appreciation Day Event <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos stated that the purpose of this case is to request <br />authorization to begin talking about a proposed project - a community-built playground, <br />prior to actual CIP approval, and to discuss whether or not the concept plans should be <br />displayed at Ramsey's Business Appreciation Day.
