Sylvia Frolik Associate Planner Breanne DaInes Environmental Coordinator Chris Anderson Management Intern Timothy Gladhill Police Chief James Way Mayor Gamec called the City Council Work Session to order at 5:39 p.m. APPROVE AGENDA The agenda was approved as submitted. COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION 1) Illegal Signage within R.O.W. Public Works Director Olson reviewed that Council has discussed the topic of illegal signage within public right-of-way on a number of occasions. On May 16, 2006, staff was directed to recommend an amendment to the sign ordinance to allow for progressive penalties for repeated violations of placement of signs in the public right-of-way. On November 21,2006, the Public Works Committee discussed the progressive penalty system. The Committee discussed the first violation resulting in a phone call and the second violation involving a written notice.
