PUBLIC HEARING
BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
CITY OF RAMSEY
COUNTY OF ANOKA
STATE OF MINNESOTA

The Ramsey Board of Adjustment conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, May 6, 1997, at the
Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota to hear input
regarding a request for a variance to construct an accessory structure nearer the front property line
than the principal structure; Case of Wayne A. Skochenski.

Members Present:

Chairperson Benjamin Deemer
Board Member Paul Holland
Board Member Sharon Jensen
Board Member Charles LaDue
Board Member Michael Terry

Members Absent:

Board Member David Bawden
Board Member Bradley Thorud

Also Present:

City Engineer Steve Jankowski

CALL TO ORDER

Chairperson Deemer called the public hearing to order at 7:12 p.m.

PRESENTATION

City Engineer Jankowski stated that this request is also to place an accessory structure nearer to the
front property line than the principal structure at 9451 72nd Avenue.

CITIZEN INPUT

Mr. Skochenski stated that the house sits so far back on the lot that there is no room for an accessory
structure behind it. An accessory structure would not be allowed to the west of the house because
of the sewer system, and to the east of the house the proposed structure would be too close to the
property line.
