PUBLIC HEARING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Planning Commission conducted a public heating on Tuesday, March 4, 1997, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota to hear input <br />regarding a Request to Rezone Certain Property from B-1 and B-2 Business to R-1 Urban <br />Residential; Case of Good Value Homes. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson David Bawden <br />Commissioner Benjamin Deemer <br />Commissioner Paul Holland <br />Commissioner Sharon Jensen <br />Commissioner Charles LaDue <br />Commissioner Bradley Thorud <br /> <br />Members Absent: Commissioner Michael Terry <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Bawden opened the public hearing at 8:38 p.m. <br /> <br />REQUEST TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM B-1 AND B-2 BUSINESS TO R-1 <br />URBAN RESIDENTIAL; CASE OF GOOD VALUE HOMES <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated that the request pertains to a parcel of 20 acres located north of <br />153rd Avenue and west of Highway 47. The property is currently zoned B-1. The application is to <br />rezone it to single family residential. <br /> <br />Mr. John Peterson, Developer for Good Value Homes, requested that this item be tabled for 30 days <br />because of further issues that need to be resolved. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue, seconded by Commissioner Holland to continue the public hearing <br />until the next regular meeting of the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />Public Hearing/Planning Commission/March 4, 1997 <br /> Page I of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
