PUBLIC HEARING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, April 1, 1997, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota, regarding a <br />request from Williams Investments, Inc., to rezone property. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson David Bawden <br />Commissioner Benjamin Deemer <br />Commissioner Sharon Jensen <br />Commissioner Charles LaDue <br />Commissioner Michael Terry <br />Commissioner Bradley Thorud <br /> <br />Members Absent: Commissioner Paul Holland <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Community Development Intern Kirk Skoog <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Bawden called the public hearing to order at 7:39 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that Ralph Williams is requesting a rezoning of property, <br />located south of SuperBowl, to facilitate the development of single family homes on the <br />property. The lot is approximately one acre in size and is in the Metropolitan Urban Service <br />Area. The applicant is proposing to subsequently plat the property into urban residential lots. <br />The adjacent parcel to the north is zoned commercial and the parcels to the south, east and west <br />are zoned residential. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Terry to enter into the record <br />of the public hearing, a letter received from Gary and Denise Skramstad in support of Mr. <br />William's request for a rezoning. <br /> <br />Planning Commission/Public Hearing/Williams/April 1, 1997 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
