<br />ORDINANCE #07-21 <br /> <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 5 WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE MUNICIPAL <br />REGULATIONS CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 5.08 (PUBLIC NUISANCE) OF CITY CODE <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1 AUTHORITY. <br /> <br />This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the City Charter of the City of <br />Ramsey. <br /> <br />SECTION 2 ADDITIONS. The followill!~ lan2ua2e is hereby added as Section 5.08.04 (hh) <br />of City Code: <br /> <br />Tracks and trails for riding motor vehicles are not allowed in a residential area unless said track <br />or trail is; <br /> <br />1. 1000 feet from any residence except that of the owner; and <br />2. At least 50 feet from property lines, public streets, utilities, or easements. <br /> <br />SECTION 3 REPEALS. The followin2lan2Ua2e is hereby repealed: <br /> <br />The entirety of Section 5.08.04 (1), which states "all public exposure of persons having a <br />contagious disease." . <br /> <br />SECTION 4 SUMMARY <br /> <br />The following official summary of Ordinance #07-21 has been approved by the City Council of <br />the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the Ordinance. <br /> <br />This Ordinance #07-21 replaces language specific to tracks and trails that was inadvertently <br />eliminated in the last ordinance revision AND eliminates one antiquated public nuisance <br />referring to contagious diseases. <br /> <br />SECTION 5 EFFECTIVE DATE <br /> <br />The effective date of this ordinance is thirty (30) days after its passage and publication, subject to <br />City Charter Section 5.07. <br /> <br />Ordinance #07-21 <br />Page 1 of2 <br />
