ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Economic Development Commission (EDC) conducted a regular meeting on <br />Thursday, May 4, 1995, at Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., <br />Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson Kenneth Wagner <br />Commissioner Allen Stafld <br />Commissioner Mary Ullen <br />Commissioner Carolyn Nelson <br />Commissioner David Kent (arrived at 6:54 p.m.) <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Commissioner Sam McGhee <br />Commissioner Mike Marquart <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Wagner called the regular meeting of the EDC to order at 6:40 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Ullen and seconded by Commissioner Nelson to approve the <br />agenda as presented. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Wagner, Commissioners Stafld, Nelson and <br />Ullen. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Kent, Marquart, and McGhee. <br /> <br />NOTE CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br /> <br />The City Council meeting minutes from February 14, 1995, February 28, 1995, March 6, <br />1995, March 13, 1995, March 14, 1995, March 21, 1995 and March 28, 1995 were duly <br />noted. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Ramsey Business Expo <br /> <br />Chairperson Wagner reviewed the plans for the 1995 Ramsey Business Expo. He stated <br />that currently, the City has received reservations for only a few booths and that we should <br />assign a minimum number of booths that would be required for the Expo to be conducted. <br />The general consensus of the EDC was 20 booths for this event. The EDC also requested <br />that City Staff provide them with an individual list of businesses to contact if the booth <br />reservations remain "sluggish". Chairperson Wagner also informed the EDC that the booth <br />and tent contractors are willing to adjust the size of the tent and number of booths based <br />upon our needs. <br /> <br />Economic Development Commission/May 4, 1995 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
