I I I I I I I I$ I I i I I I I I i STAFF GOALS WORK SESSION CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA The Ramsey City Staff conducted a Goals Work Session on Thursday, July 15, 1993 in the Council Chambers at Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. Present: City Administrator Ryan Schroeder Finance Officer Jessie Hart Personnel Coordinator Kay McAloney Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik Police Chief Michael Auspos Public Works Supervisor Merle Mevissen Project Manager James G-romberg Intern Jill Bebeau Absent: Park.qUfilifies Coordinator Mark Boos City Engineer Steve Jardcowski Fire Chief David Griffin Agenda Items: Finance Administrative Services Personnel/Staffing/Training Community Development Finance: Jessie Hart Finance O~ficer Jessie Hart reviewed each of the 1994, 1993 and 1992 functions listed under the Finance Department. No significant changes were made to the printed work plan. Administrative Services: Kay McAloney Personnel Coordinator McAloney reviewed each of the 1994, 1993 and 1992 functions listed under Administrative Services. One of the 1993 functions deals with an Administraiive library. Ms. McAloney stated there should be a card for persons to check out bookSfrom the library. This would cause less confusion when someone is looking for a book. With regard to licensing, it was suggested that Administrative Services may begin doing liquor licensing. Ms. McAloney will be amending the central licensing system. With regard to surveys: There was a survey done in 1993 for name changes for 153rd Avenue N.W. and also for Sunfish Lake Drive. It was suggested that Ms. McAloney contact Darlene George at the City of Crystal for a generic survey to use as an example for other surveys the City may want to do.
