I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />CITY CHARTER INTERVIEWS <br />CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted interviews to fill two vacancies on the Charter <br />Commission on Tuesday, September 14, 1993, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 <br />Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor James Gilbenson <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br />Councilmember Glen Hardin <br />Councilmember Kenneth Peterson <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Ryan Schroeder <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson called the interviewing meeting to order at 6:05 p.m. <br />INTERVIEWS <br /> <br />Council proceeded to separately interview Ms. Virginia Spain Brist, Mr. Keith Kiefer and <br />Ms. Ellen!Stanley. Following a brief description of the Charter Commission's role with <br />the City, all candidates were asked questions pertaining to their reason for interest in the <br />Charter position, their goals, etc. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding the candidates and Council determined they would make their <br />decision ol~ the candidates at tonight's Council meeting.
