<br />ORDINANCE #09-05 <br /> <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 9 WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE ZONING AND <br />SUBDIVISION OF LAND CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, <br />MINNESOTA. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 9.26 "WETLAND PROTECTION" OF <br />CHAPTER NINE OF CITY CODE <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. AUTHORITY <br /> <br />This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority ofthe City Charter of the City of <br />Ramsey. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. AMENDMENTS <br /> <br />Section 9.26 (Wetland Protection) of City Code is hereby repealed in its entirety. <br /> <br />SECTION 3: SUMMARY <br /> <br />The following official summary of Ordinance #09-05 has been approved by the City Council of <br />the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the Ordinance. <br /> <br />Ordinance #09-05 eliminates the Wetland Protection regulations from City Code. These <br />regulations in general required a vegetative buffer adjacent to a wetland if the parcel(s) were to <br />be developed. <br /> <br />SECTION 4: EFFECTIVE DATE <br /> <br />The effective date of this ordinance is thirty (30) days after its passage and publication, subject to <br />City Charter Section 5.07. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Ramsey City Council the 28th day of April, 2009. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Mayor . <br /> <br />Ordinance #09-05 <br />Page 1 of2 <br />
