Members Present: <br />Members Absent: <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The City of Ramsey Economic Development Authority (EDA) conducted a regular meeting on <br />June 8, 1999, at the Anoka - Hennepin Technical College, Room 115A, 1355 Highway #10 NW, <br />Anoka, MN 55303. <br />David Kent; hairperson <br />Glen Hardin I/ <br />Kenneth Wagner <br />Chris Riley <br />Lydia Scheiber, Vice Chair <br />Gerald Zimmerman <br />Also Present: James E. Norman, City Administrator <br />Sean Walther, Community Development Assistant <br />Due to no quorum, meeting was not called to order. <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY BUSINESS <br />Case #1: Ramsey Business and Economic Development Hall of Fame <br />Informal motion by member Wagner and seconded by Hardin to induct Larry Cody of Wendels, <br />into the 1999 Ramsey Business and Economic Development Hall of Fame. <br />Mr. Wagner nominated Larry Cody of Wendels, Steve Duncan of Parabody/Life Fitness, and <br />Delores St. Germain of St. Germain Style. <br />Glen Hardin nominated Natalie Haas- Steffen, Jim Gilbertson and Gary Reimann. <br />Informal motion by Wagner, seconded by Hardin, to induct Delores St. Germain into the Ramsey <br />Business and Economic Development Hall of Fame. <br />Staff was directed to contact the absent EDA members for other nominations, and if there were <br />no new nominations, to poll the other members for agreement on the selection of Ms. St. <br />Germain as the 1999 Hall of Fame inductee. <br />Case #2: Ramsey City Staff Updates <br />Jim Norman provided verbal updates to the EDA. <br />Economic Development Authority/June 8, 1999 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
