No vote will be taken. She explained the
tables included in the case which showed the proposed increases, the cost of the contract,
the pay history, and the fact that what is proposed is a two-year contract. She added that
the increase of 4.0 percent for a couple of years may be a little high but added that the two-
year contract would save a lot of negotiating work and time and it's hard to put a cost on
that.

Councilmember Zimmerman commented that a four percent increase was "in the ball park".

ADJOURNMENT

Consensus of the Council was to adjourn the meeting.

The closed meeting of the City Council adjourned at 6:55 p.m.

Respectfully ~ubmitte~, -, ../ /'.
,/../.
/ Jo~'hi~lin~' /~//
(~R/ec°rding Secretary

City Administrator

Closed City Council - Negotiations/AFSCME/January 18, 1994
Page I of 1
