FINANCE COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Finance Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, March 23, 2004, at <br />the Ramsey Fire Station Number I, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Menqbers Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson David Elvig <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Finance Officer Diana Lurid <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Assistant Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Police Chief James Way <br /> <br />CALl. TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Elvig called the regular meeting of the Finance Committee to order at 5:31 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Consider Purchase of Finance Printer with Equipment Replacement Funds <br /> <br />Finance Office Lund stated one of the Laser Jet printers currently being utilized in the Finance <br />Department has reached its life potential and is in need of replacement. Staff is requesting that <br />funds in an amount not to exceed $2,025 be utilized from accumulated depreciated monies in the <br />Equipment Replacement Fund. This amount represents the cost of an HP LaserJet Printer with a <br />duplexer that is identical to the current financial printer. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman, seconded by Chairman Elvig, to recommend that the <br />City Council adopt the Resolution authorizing the purchase of an HP LaserJet printer with <br />funding to be obtained from the Equipment Replacement Fund in an amount not to exceed <br />$2,025. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Elvig, and Councilmembers Zimmerman and <br />Strommen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Finance Committee/March 23, 2004 <br /> Page 1 of 6 <br /> <br /> <br />
