PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA A regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on Tuesday, May 12, 1981 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota 55303. Members Present: Mayor Gamec Councilwoman Van Wagner Councilman Reimann Councilman Cox Councilman Sorteberg Also Present: City Administrator Schnelle City Attorney Goodrich City Building Official Berg City Engineer Raatikka Press: Eric Sandin The regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was called to order at 7:38 P.M. CITIZEN INPUT Delmar Bowman came before the Council regarding the purchase of a lot on County Road 5. He wants to make sure he can get a building permit. Building Official Berg stated he doesn't think this is a lot of record. Mayor Gamec stated before the Council could proceed with this matter it would need more background information and could be placed on the agenda at that time. Carl Veiderman, 7050 175th (Co. Rd. 63 off Nowthen Blvd.) came before the Council to see if he could put up a pole building. He has 10 acres and wants to put up a 40 x 60 pole building for storage. Mayor Gamec stated the Council would have to adopt a finding of fact and 1200 square feet is all that is allowed on 10 acres however if the Council doesn't have any objections, we would be willing to look at it. Mr. Veiderman stated he does plan on purchasing 10 more acres in the future, but wants to build the building now. Pat Smuder came before the Council with a letter from her attorney with a copy of her lease and presented it to City Administrator Schnelle for contract preparation and Mayor Gamec stated this matter would be placed on the agenda for the next meeting.
