PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on Tuesday~ September <br />8, 1981, at the Ramsey Municipal Center~ 15153 Nowthen Blvd, N.W,.~ Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Sorteberg <br />Councilmember Reimann <br />Councilmember Cox <br />Councilmember Van Wagner (Excused at lQ:40 P.M,) <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka <br />City Administrator Schnelle <br />City Attorney Goodrich <br />Reporter Eric Sandin <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was called to order at <br />7:33 P.M. by Mayor Gamec, Mayor Gamec led in the Pledge of Allegiance to <br />the Flag. <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was adjourned at 7:33 P~M? <br /> <br />A Public Hearing was called to order by-Mayor Gamec at 7~34 P,M. regarding <br />Improvement Project #80~15~ Public Hearing adjourned at 7:52 p.M, <br /> <br />A Public Hearing was called to order by Mayor Gamec at 7:53 P,M~ regarding <br />Improvement Project #80-.16~ Public Hearing adjourned at 8;02 <br /> <br />A Public Hearing was called to order by Mayor Gamec at 8:02 P,M, regarding <br />Improvement Project #80~.17. Public Hearing adjourned at 8~35 P,M~ <br /> <br />The regular Council Meeting was called back to order at 8:36 P,M, by Mayor <br />Gamec. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Mr. Ben Deemer approached the Council restating his request for building <br />permit prior to completion of platting requirement~ He stated that the <br />Class 5 requirement would be completed concurrently ~ith the construction <br />of the home.. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner~ seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg~ to <br />adopt Resolution #81-127 to approve of a variance to Mr~ Ben Deemer for <br />a building permit to be issued prior to the Class 5 being placed on the <br />street in Pondvale Estate, Please refer to resolution file for contents <br />of Resolution #81~.127. Motion carried~ Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec~ Council~ <br />members Sorteberg, Reimann, Cox and Van Wagner~ Voting No: None.. <br />Further Discussion: Mayor Gamec advised Mr~ Deemer that if Class 5 work <br />is not completed~ he won't be granted anymore building permits.
