FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />qhc Ramscy Fire Department conducted a regular meeting on Wednesday, May 8, 2002, at <br />R amscy Fire Station #2, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />CAI.L TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chicl' Kaplcr called the regular meeting of the Ramsey Fire Department to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />ri'here were twenty-five firefighters in attendance. There were no additions to the agenda. <br /> <br />Chief' Kapler welcomed the new firefighters to the Department. A current phone list is posted at <br />each station; firefighters were asked to verify and update the information. The home phone <br />number is mandatory. Once the list is updated a new phone card will be distributed to the <br />firctightcrs. <br /> <br />Chiet' Kapler gave an update on Firefighter Smith. <br /> <br />Carla Weiss and Shelly Hoxter will participate in the Race for the Cure in honor of Jenny Hoxter. <br />A sign up sheet is posted for firefighters wishing to donate. <br /> <br />MONTItLY REPORTS <br /> <br />7 'RA/NING <br /> <br />( )t"liccr I,emm reviewed the Training Report. <br /> <br />· April training included Grass Fire Preparations, Patient Extrication, and LP Gas <br /> Emcrgencies. <br /> <br />· May training includes Fire Scene Preservation, Trauma Emergencies, Boat Water Rescue and <br /> Major Maintenance. <br /> <br />Firctighter Gordon has started Fire Fighter I. Firefighter Block will start Fire Fighter I when <br />a class is available. Firefighters Amundsen and VanSteenbergen have almost completed Fire <br />Fighter I. Amundsen will attend First Responder next; VanSteenbergen has her EMT. <br /> <br />MAJOR MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />()filter Weiss reviewed the Major Maintenance Report. <br /> <br /> <br />
