Councilmember VanWagner introduced the following resolution and moved for <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #83- 21 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HAZARDOUS WASTE SITE PROPOSED TO BE LOCATED IN <br />THE CITY OF RAMSEY BE DELETED FROM THE HAZARDOUS WASTE COMMISSIONS INVENTORY <br />OF SITES <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has adopted a Comprehensive Plan <br />which calls for sanitary sewer service to that area shown on the City's <br />public facilities map as r-c in 1983 (See attached map showing the area <br />referred to in red); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has had no petitions or informal requests for <br />sanitary sewer service located in this proposed 1983 development area; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has no current plans to serve the above re- <br />ferred to area with municipal utilities. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the Hazardous Waste Site proposed to be located in <br />Ramsey be deleted from the Hazardous Waste Commissions inventory of sites <br />based on Ramsey's Resolutions #82-166 and #83-11a and based on the fact <br />that Ramsey has no current plans to serve this proposed site area with <br />sanitary sewer service. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Schlueter and <br />Reimann <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted bythe Ramsey <br />City Council this the 22nd day of March, 1983. <br /> <br /> <br />
