<br />. <br /> <br />PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br />BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A Board of Adjustment Public Hearing regarding variance for accessory <br />building, case of Mr. Richard Hartman, was called to order by Acting <br />Chairman Reimann at 7:56 P.M. <br /> <br />Members Present: Councilmember Gary Reimann (Acting Chairman) <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Sue Van Wagner <br />Councilmember Al Sorteberg <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle <br />City Attorney Will i am Goodri ch <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br />City Building Official Clayton Berg <br />Reporter Eric Sandin <br /> <br />Councilmember Arnie Cox (Chairman) <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />Acting Chairman Reimann called for comments from the audience. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Fred Perry - 5510 152nd Ave. N.W. - Mr. Perry stated that he feels a 1900 sq. <br />ft. accessory building in a residential area would lower his property value. <br />He also stated that Mr. Hartman does not show much consideration for the <br />neighboring property when he plows and also has doubts in regards to <br />Mr. Hartman's upkeep on the accessory building. <br /> <br />Kathy Kempf - 15220 St. Francis Blvd. - Mrs. Kempf also questionned an <br />accessory building this size. She feels that Mr. Hartman, a bachelor, could <br />not have that many personal items that he requires an accessory building of <br />this size and she fears that Mr. Hartman has intentions of running a business <br />out of that building some day. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to adjourn the <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Vottng Yes: Acting Chairman Reimann, Mayor Gamec, Council- <br />members Van Wagner and Sorteberg. Voting No: None.
