PUBLIC HEARING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, April 2, 1996 at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota to hear input <br />regarding a request for a conditional use permit to grade and export soils; case of Good Value <br />Homes, Inc. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson David Bawden <br />Commissioner Ben Deemer <br />Commissioner Paul Holland <br />Commissioner Sharon Jensen <br />Commassioner Charles LaDue <br />Commissioner Michael Terry <br />Commissioner Bradley Thorud <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Engineer Steven Jankowski <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Bawden called the public hearing to order at 7:33 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik reported that Good Value Homes, Inc. is requesting to grade and <br />export soils from the area proposed to be platted as Pondview, which is located northeast of the <br />intersection of C.R. #116 and C.R. #56. The grading plan submitted requires exporting <br />approximately 120,000 yards of material from the site. City Code does not require a special permit <br />for grading operations associated with an approved plat, unless the operations involve exporting <br />soils from site. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Holland and seconded by Commissioner Jensen to adjourn the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Holland, Jensen, Deemer, <br />LaDue, Terry, and Thorud.
