Jankowski, P.E., City Engineer <br /> <br />Subject: <br /> <br />Revised Letter of Invoice for final Cost Participation of Construction Project <br />for the Extension of CR No. 116 from Ramsey Blvd. to County Road No. 83. <br /> <br />Reference: <br /> <br />(a) Anoka County Project 95-05-116. <br />(b) Anoka County Board of Commissioner's approval on August 11, 1998 to <br />enter into joint powers agreement with the City of Ramsey. <br />(c) Facsimile of final draft JPA to Steve Jankowski on August 19, 1998. <br />(d) Anoka County Letter dated January 14, 1999 w/JPA for execution. <br />(e) Receipt of signed JPA from the City of RamseY on March 2, 1999. <br />(f) Fully executed JPA Sent to the City of Ramsey on May 4, 1999 w/Invoice <br />for 95% of the City's share. <br />(g) Receipt of $73,732.35 on 9/20/99 representing 95% of city's share of cost. <br />(h) Anoka County Letter of Invoice dated April 25, 2002 to City of Ramsey for <br />$22,366.41 due May 30, 2002. <br />(i) Receipt of City of Ramsey Letter dated June 4, 2003 disputing cost share. <br /> <br />Enclosure: Revised Final Schedule "1" dated June 10, 2003 (Two Pages). <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Jankowski, <br /> <br />Pursuant to References (a) - (i), a review of the joint powers agreement signed by the <br />parties indicates that the City of Ramsey will pay for the "Common Excavation (Special)" <br />which final cost have amounted to $22,366.44. Per Reference (i), the city disputes this cost <br />on the basis that the county should pay for this. A review of my personal notes dated <br />August 19, 1998 indicates that you placed a call to me disputing this cost.
