Councilmember Zimmerman inquired if any of the parcels will be assessed for any portion of the <br />project. <br /> <br />Principal City Engineer Olson replied yes. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman inquired if the residents could petition against the assessments. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich replied yes. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec requested that the City Attorney research whether or not the City can assess for <br />only the pavement portion of a project if sewer and water extension is a part of the project. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to ratify the <br />recommendation of the Public Works Committee. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Zimmerman, Cook, Elvig, <br />Kurak, and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />4) Authorization to Update the Comprehensive Water Supply Plan <br />The Public Works Committee recommended that the City Council authorize staff to hire Bolten <br />& Menk at a cost not to exceed $15,000 for completing an update to the comprehensive Water <br />Supply Plan and direct staff to negotiate with Ramsey Town Center LLC to assist with the cost of <br />the study. <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman noted that he did receive $5,000 from Ramsey Town Center, LLC <br />for this study. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to ratify the <br />recommendation of the Public Works Committee. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Kurak, Elvig, Cook, Pearson, <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />5) Consider Alternative Outlets from Regional Pond in Business Park 95 <br />The Public Works Committee came to a consensus to discontinue discussions regarding the <br />utilization of the alignment through the City of Anoka. <br /> <br />No action was necessary. <br /> <br />6) Chameleon Street <br />Consensus of the Public Works Committee was to put together costs for constructing a 28-foot <br />wide street as well as correcting any drainage problems. <br /> <br />City Council/June 1 O, 2003 <br /> Page 19 of 22 <br /> <br /> <br />
