Tim Pomerleau, Oak Creek Builders, Inc., stated that he would either install a fence or the berm <br />with the trees. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cook inquired if the berm would be irrigated. <br /> <br />Mr. Pomerleau replied yes. <br /> <br />Couucilmember Strommen inquired if the Mr. Pomerleau would consider a decorative fence with <br />landscaping. <br /> <br />Mr. Pomerleau replied that if the fencing was only required along the entrance and at the end of <br />the cul-de-sac then he would be agreeable. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kurak stated that she would like to see fencing included as a visual affect at the <br />entrance. <br /> <br />Mr. Pomerleau replied that he was not a fan of fencing because they require maintenance; <br />however, if the Council requires a fence he would not object to it. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kurak stated that some developments have an entrance sign with the name of the <br />development on it. <br /> <br />Mr. Pomerleau replied that they intend on having an entrance sign that could incorporate a fence. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kurak noted that she did not want to ask them to do something that will not <br />match the development. <br /> <br />Mr. Pomerleau replied that they will construct a monument on both sides of the entrance that will <br />look nice. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kurak stated that she was comfortable with that. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Pearson, to adopt Resolution <br />#03-06-155 approving the preliminary plat contingent upon compliance with City staff review <br />letter dated May 16, 2003, revised June 6, 2003, revised June 20, 3003. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Cook, Pearson, Kurak, and <br />Strommen. Voting No: Councilmember Zimmerman. <br /> <br />Case #7: Request for Site Plan Review of Alpine Acres; Case of Oak Creek Builders, <br /> Inc. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Wald stated that Oak Creek Builders, Inc. has submitted a site plan for the <br />development of a townhouse subdivision. The property is generally located in the triangular area <br />formed by the intersection of Nowthen Boulevard, Sunfish Lake Boulevard., and Alpine Drive. <br /> <br />City Council/June 24, 2003 <br />Page 22 of 37 <br /> <br /> <br />
