Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Zimmerman, Pearson, Cook, <br />Kurak and Strommen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #20: 3.2 Percent Malt Liquor License Renewal <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman stated that on June 10, 2003, City Council approved 3.2 percent malt <br />liquor license renewals; however the request for Oasis' renewal was contingent upon staff <br />receiving the paperwork in time. The paperwork was not received, therefore, the license was not <br />approved at that meeting. The application has now been received and deemed in order. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman, seconded by Councilmember Pearson, to approve 3.2 <br />percent malt liquor license renewals for Oasis Market #535 for 2003-2004 license year. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Zimmerman, Pearson, Cook, <br />Kurak, and Strommen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #21: Report from Personnel Committee <br /> <br />The Personnel Committee met on June 24, 2003 to discuss the following cases: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, to table action on Item #2 for two weeks to allow for more <br />staff discussion on the issue. <br /> <br />Motion failed for the lack of a second. <br /> <br />1) Consider Reorganization of the Community Development Department <br />The Personnel Committee recommended that the City Council authorize a reorganization in the <br />Community Development Department by creating an Assistant Community Development <br />Director position, that Patrick Trudgeon be promoted to the position of Assistant Community <br />Development Director effective June 25, 2003 with a six-month probationary period, and that a <br />maximum salary of $76,463 be established effective January 1, 2004 for the Assistant <br />Community Development Director position. <br /> <br />City Council/June 24, 2003 <br /> Page 34 of 37 <br /> <br /> <br />
