Absent: CouncilmemberElvig. <br /> <br />6) Consider Ending Probationary Period for Police Captain <br />The Personnel Committee recommended that the City Council adopt the resolution ending the <br />probationary period for Tim Dwyer and granting the status as full-time regular Police Captain. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Pearson, to adopt Resolution <br />#03-06-166 ending the probationary period for Police Captain. <br /> <br />Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Kurak, Pearson, Cook, Strommen and <br />Zimmerman. Absent: CouncilmemberElvig. <br /> <br />Case #22: Report from Finance Committee <br /> <br />The Finance Committee met on June 24, 2003 to discuss the following case: <br /> <br />1) Presentation 2002 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) and <br /> Management Report by MMKR <br />The 2002 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report and Management Report was adopted under <br />the Consent Agenda <br /> <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />1) Work Session Topic <br /> <br />Councilmember Strommen requested that at a future work session the City Council discuss the <br />City's Comprehensive Plan and the vision for the City and that a joint meeting with the Planning <br />Commission be scheduled to help open up the line of communication. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kurak requested that they also review residential standards in the very near <br />future. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to adjourn the <br />regular meeting of the City Council. <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />City Council/June 24, 2003 <br />Page 36 of 37 <br /> <br /> <br />
