Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION # <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR <br /> POLICE CAPTAIN <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its November 26, 2002 meeting, the City Council promoted Tim <br />Dwyer to the position of First Sergeant effective November 27, 2002; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on January-28, .2003, the position of First Sergeant was Changed (in <br />title only) to Captain; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Dwyer has successfully completed his six-month <br />probationary period as Police Captain; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at its June 24, 2003 meeting agreed with <br />the staff recommendation to end the probationary period for Tim Dwyer, effective May <br />27, 2003. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />The City Council of the:City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to end the probationary period for Tim Dwyer, effective <br />May 27, 2003. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Com~cilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />and the follow}rig voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 24th day of June, 2003. <br /> <br />-412- <br /> <br /> <br />
