comp plan. They also are evaluating what the County currently has. They are now in the third phase <br />of the planning - developing a 20 year plan. This process is similar to what was done in the City some <br />time ago. <br /> <br />Chairperson Cook stated the County Commissioners are going through the same process along with <br />the County Staff. There will be a consensus of the three groups. So far the process is going quite <br />well. This is similar to what Hennepin Parks did 30 years ago. They are also looking at ways revenue <br />can be raised and how it should be done. <br /> <br />Chairperson Cook stated the City of Ramsey was commended for developing their Comprehensive <br />Plan. Many members are envious of Ramsey's emerging trail system. <br /> <br />Commissioner Droegemueller asked if methane gas could be used for lighting of the ski trail. Mr. <br />Boos stated he will explore the opportunities throughout the park. He stated possibly a greenhouse <br />could be constructed for use near the nature area. <br /> <br />COMMISSION INPUT <br /> <br />Commissioner Johns asked ifa portable bathroom could be put at the south half of River's Bend park. <br />Mr. Boos stated the cost is $50 a month. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaMere and seconded by Commissioner Johns to adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chair Cook, Commissioners Asfahl, Droegemueller, Johns, LaMere, <br />Ostrum, and Skinner. Voting No: None.
