Motion on Case #5: <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Johnson, seconded by Chairperson Nixt, to recommend that the City <br />Council adopt Findings of Fact relating to a request to rezone the subject property from R-1 <br />Single Family Residential to R-2 Medium Density Residential contingent upon Comprehensive <br />Plan Amendment approval by the City Council and Metropolitan Council to change the land use <br />designation in the comprehensive plan from Iow density residential to medium, density residential <br />and upon the developer receiving preliminary plat and site plan approval for Alpine Acres 2~d <br />Addition, with an amendment to number 8, to indicate a maximum of 4 units. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Johnson, Shepherd and Van <br />Scoy. Voting No: Commissioners Brauer and Watson. Absent: Commissioner Reeve. <br /> <br />Motion on Case #6: <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt noted one building will access the Tungsten Street public cul-de-sac. He wants <br />all buildings to access the private driveway collector. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Johnson, seconded by Chairperson Nixt to recommend that the City <br />Council approve the preliminary plat contingent upon compliance with City Staff Review Letter <br />dated May 30, 2003, amended to specify a maximum of four units, with no access onto the public <br />cul-de-sac. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Johnson, Brauer, Shepherd and <br />Van Scoy. Voting No: Commissioner Watson. Absent: Commissioner Reeve. <br /> <br />Motion on Case #7: <br /> <br />Commissioner Brauer asked if they could table this one until the changes were made. <br /> <br />Commissioner Johnson stated he believes they are close.
